"Master" Frames for printable labels?
Hi all,
I am making a template for printable labels, there are 40 labels per sheet. I would like to set it up so every frame is a duplicate of one "master" frame. In other words, if I make changes to the "master" frame, the changes happen to the other 39 labels on the page.
Is there any way to do this? I feel like its very simple and Im just missing it.

RBG Farbdarstellung verändert sich wenn man TIF öffnet
Will in Indesign mit RGB (NeoGrün) layouten, aber wenn ich ein TIF einlade, werden plötzlich alle RGB Flächen in Dunkelgrün dargestellt.
Kann man das um- oder abstellen?

Auto Hyperlinks not working
I have been trying to get the Indesign CC hyperlink option to work.
But I can't and so I have to do the whole lot manually.
The problem is that when I auto detect the URL's it doesn't assign it correctly,
it misses out important numbers in the URL see attached screen shot.
As you can see it creates a broken link...
How can I get around this please?

Mac upgrade to Yosemite, Adobe Indesign CS5 keyboard shortcuts not working - t for text - z for zoom - v for pointer etc
So I upgraded my MACBOOK PRO (Retina, Mid 2012) 2.7 Ghz Intel Core i7
to MAC OS X YOSEMITE
Adobe Indesign CS5 generally works with some very annoying bugs.
All major keyboard shortcuts that use a single key command have stopped working. and these happen to be the main ones I use all the time for editing...
t for text
z for zoom
v for pointer
It's annoying because now I have to keep going back to the tool bar to change my cursor selection. It's just slowing me down.
Annoying but workable.
Has anyone else go this issue?
An update or fix would be greatly appreciated.

Can I sell my CS4 suite
I have a full version of CS 4 suite - In-design, Illustrator, Photoshop.
It is not an upgrate but it's windows based and I have now invested in a new 27" imac
Can someone tell me if this will still work if I remove it off my old pc please

I am unable to resize the toolbar colour palette in InDesign
I'm new to CC this week, coming from CS5.5 - I'm finding the tightening of space around the toolbar elements / increased padding makes it harder to read the content of the boxes now that the border almost sits on top of the text. If it ever comes up for discussion on the development roadmap could we steal back some of that dead space in the padding around these elements? In addition to this it doesn't help that the UI brightness value of 100% 'Light' is still darker than the former.

But this isn't the reason for my visit today, I'm finding it more frustrating that the colour palette flyout in the toolbar is fixed, i.e there is no resize gripper. This must be an oversight as previously in CS5 you could do this in Illustrator and InDesign whereas in CC2014 you can still do it in Illustrator.

CC Libraries doesn't respond
CC Libraries doesn't seem to think that I'm signed into Creative Cloud when I am signed in. There's an icon next to the trash icon that says "Signed out of Creative Cloud." ...Not true. Nothing happens when I try to drag and drop to the folder.

Tables: Fit Content to Frame
(InDesign CS2)
Since "fit frame to content" is available when you select a frame that contains a table, but "fit content to frame" is not...I'm assuming it's not possible to do that.
I understand that a table can lie well within or outside of its frame, and that can be a nice thing. However, what if I want to make sure the boundaries of the actual table, left to right, take up an EXACT width? Seems like making the frame the exact width I need and then having "fit content to frame" available is what I need.
Am I missing something? Does anyone have a good workaround?

Problem with missing fonts
Hi, when I reopen my document it says it has missing fonts.
I manually found them but then when I close the document and reopen, they are all missing again.
Any ideas?
(fonts are all in the indesign font folder)

flatten layers in InDesign
I need to flatten my layers on a project before sending to print. I opened the layers panel and selected all the layers but when trying to merge them it is not highlighted. Can someone help a novice?

Inserting automatic date - updating a date field automatically fields into an inDesign document.
I just fell over a silly lapse. I edited a document which has a "status date" and I missed out updating that status date. So I needed to return and edit a second time just to update the silly date.
I was wondering if there is not a possibility to set that date automatically. Looking in the help files, I only found automatic page numbers (but also there I was missing the "total numbers of pages" tag).
FYI: I'm using CS5.0 (ID 7.0.4).

How do I get the Toolbars and palletes to show/register my selections?
Palettes and toolbar do not register the correct information ie.Font size, swatch selections etc. Example, I select a sentence or word that is 10 pt, I move to & select something that is 24 pt and it still shows 10pt. Example, I go to the 'tables' tab to make changes and none of the windows allow you to type in info. I switch to another tab and then back and it allows me to enter my data. Example, I select a color in the swatches pallete and it is remembering the last color used, I can not accurately select or change to a new swatch. PC computer, Indesign CC. It's making it impossible to work.
Sometimes deleting preferences will clear the issue, but only for about 5-10 min. I've tried different monitor resolutions as I heard that CC is not up to date with monitor resolutions.

Double-sided printing refuses to "flip over" even though I have that option selected.
I select "flip over" and instead, it prints the pages "flip up". I selected "flip over" in Printing Preferences and then selected "ok". However, when I open Printing Preferences again, before printing, "flip up" is selected as though I hadn't just chosen the other option. Any thoughts? I am printing a landscape 8.5" x 11" booklet if that makes a difference.
