I need to install an upgrade to my mac - Yosemite.  Will my CS5.45 version of Adobe products be compatible with Yosemite or will I need to purchase and install upgrades to all the products?

I'm an experienced Photoshop user completely new to InDesign. I use a Wacom Bamboo tablet (the lowest-end one) as a mouse, and can't get the 'grabber hand' scrolling to work with it. The lower pen button is supposed to activate the grabber hand tool (just as if you held down the spacebar, which is what I think the pen button effectively does). The pen button works in Photoshop, but not InDesign. (In InDesign, the pen button makes it scroll, but it's a jumpy one-axis scroll that doesn't invoke the grabber hand tool).

It's hard for me to get around without the grabber hand, since I'm so used to it. Does anyone else use a Wacom, and does the grab-and-scroll button work for you? I'm open to getting a better tablet if it's just a quirk of this model.

I'm using OS X 10.7.2 and InDesign CS5.5.

For one of my client we want to try to use the new software for automatic artwork creation. At this moment this software is only capable of generating Indesign files. What we want to do is to create a template in Illustrator and export this document to an Indesign file. This Indesign file will be uploaded in the software.

So that client can add their own text. As soon as the file is ready, we will download this Indesign document. Once the finished document is downloaded we want to export the text layer back to illustrator and place this text layer into the original illustrator template, cause we want to deliver the files in Illustrator instead of Indesign.

Do you know if there’s a way to export Illustrator files to indesign without having to do a complete new layout in Illustrator?

COPY paste is not an option at this moment. I am looking for any script or pluging or any software which does it automatically.

Please let me know the possibilities.

Hi ! i'm experiencing a problem with Indesign CC, i try to duplicate elements, i select with the black arrow, like always, drag the element, and then, it not duplicate it, but duplicate it and create an other duplicata between the first element and when i drop what i would have only duplicate. Then the 3 element apears been in the same selection.

I can copy+past+drag. But it's not that fast and i really need help. Thank you ^^

Im having difficulty exporting from Indesign. Its a simple multi page PDF but any time I  try it opens document in Photoshop.

Why is this and how can I overcome this issue?

Is it possible to integrate Adobe InDesign CS6 with the latest version of ProjectWise ? if so what would they be requirements?

I am creating an A3 leaflet folded to A6 with information about places of interest to visit along the course of river catchment.  Have just been advised by the printer that my A3 PDF is not the right layout and needs to measure 303 x 426 with appropriate bleed for printing.  Is there a template available for this?  Thanks for any help and advice.

Could you please help me. I can't find the option, 'Word Import Presets', to edit or delete Presets in the Folder: 'Adobe InDesign > Version > Language'. (InDesign CC - Mac OS X 10.10.2)

I've searched through all the Adobe Folders, in InDesign itself and on the internet, but I can't find more than how to make, save and set a Preset as default.

I have recently installed Adobe InDesign CC, and have experienced problems with the screen display when running it including pixelated icons and tool bars, in addition to text and image boxes that float whilst hovering over them with the cursor.

I have not experienced similar problems with any of the other Adobe programs installed.

How can i see the preview of indesign CC on the mac?

When I place a graphic on a page, I then move it to the desired area and when I do the graphic disappears, can anyone advise what I am doing wrong?

I am an InDesign User since version 4, but now the firts time i got a simple problem:

I get no search-results in the place dialog window shown.

There appears no spinning wheel and i can´t see any progress.

This happens too in my hole CreateveSuite (InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator).

This only happens if i am searching for pictures on our NAS - the search results on my computer goes perfect.

I just upgraded to CC 2014, and am looking forward to getting to know the new features, however there's one thing with InDesign that I'm having trouble getting past... The UI menus, font sizes, and even the cursor are comically large. It's distracting, not to mention it takes up precious workspace. The main toolbar takes up twice as much space as in CC, and it's just because the font size is twice as large.

My screen resolution is at its largest (1920x1080). The issue affects my InDesign and Illustrator, but not Photoshop or Dreamweaver, and it just seems to be on Windows (I also have it for Mac, and there's no problem there).

I can't find any way to change this, and after looking online it seems like this has always been an issue with Adobe. Is there any way to remedy this? I'm sticking with my older version otherwise. I don't want to sound hyperbolic, but the cursor really is distractingly, comically, oversized. Anyone else notice this?

I had a system crash and lost the print preset. I have backups of my HD but can't find where the files are stored. Can anyone enlighten me? I tried googling it, but probably wasn't using the right terms.

Indesign CC10 Mac.

I just migrated all my programs to a new iMac with Yosemite (Mac OS 10.10).  Had previously been using a OS 10.7. 

All my other Adobe CS5 Applications are working properly, but InDesign will not open and crashes immediately.   This is the beginning of the crash report.  Any ideas?
