My interactive PDF (which has an embedded video) doesn't show the slide after the video.
It's basically a slideshow of images you can just flip through. Then in between I have a video embedded into it. In the PDF, it doesn't render the slide right after the video. So I'm forced to go to the next slide and then back one to receive the image.
Why is it doing this?!
To better inform, I'm using Adobe CC.
I've got a file with two different master pages, each a different size. No problem with any of that ... all set up and working as it should. For Master A, I want 1/4-inch bleed; on Master B, I want 3/8-inch bleed. I can't figure out how to set different BLEED numbers for the two Masters. The only place I can find settings for BLEED are in the DOCUMENT SETUP, which affects all pages.
Any way I can do this? Thank you, smart person(s).

I'm creating a catalogue and I was wondering if there's an easier way to automate the entire catalogue from an excel sheet.
I've done data merge to create single page documents, but I was wondering if there was a way to merge with multiple data on one single page.
In the example the Style Group would be the title, '12345' would be the SKU number and the descriptions.

I have CS 5.5, and I want to install ID 5.5 only on my computer at work. I am running the other licensed copy at home. I brought my program stuff to work with me today and without any trouble at all, installed ID. I opened a document and began working.
When I went to lunch, I closed ID. Now I find when I try to open it, Adobe is asking me for my serial # and telling me that I have 30 days left in my trial. I tried putting my serial # in, but Adobe said it was not valid.
I also have the "remnants" of CC InDesign on my work computer. Could they be interfering?
Or, did I do something incorrect when I installed the software at work?

When you have a data merge, it creates a new page for each record. Is there a way to create a new layer instead of a new page?

Parts of my inquiry have been addressed here, but still not clear on how to prevent a recurring problem.
I'm working on a very large complex book (~400 pages). Over time the file gets bloated and I save as IDML, and then re-open in the same version (2015.4) which I was was working in before. I know from experience that opening and IDML in a PREVIOUS version can cause all sorts of problems, but I don't understand my master page guides are getting shifted when I reopen and save as an INDD.
Also, many of the document pages have lost all of their master guides, even though they are still marked as having the master page applied. I have to re-apply the master pages across the document.
As I may have to save as IDML again, what can I do to prevent this from happening? I just locked all the guides on the master pages. Is there anything else I can do?
The rest of the file "appears" ok, but I'm worried that something else may have shifted. What else should I check for? What can be done to prevent these problems?

One of my users is using Adobe CC 3.8.0.310, Indesign CC 2015.4 Release (11.4.1.102) as well as Illustrator CC 2015.3.1 Release (20.1.0) on a iMac Retina 5K 27" Late 2014 Model running OS X Yosemite v10.10.5
The user had been able to add Graphics, Styles and Colors to the CC Library available in InDesign up until 2 weeks ago, when faced with the following problem:

Hi, anyone can help with this problem, i have tried to search online for some times, but bad luck.
I have a paragraph with many uppercase letter with brackets, e.g.: (1)AAAAA or (2)BBBB. If I need to bold all of them, I'll have to look for each one and manually bold.
Is there a function in find and replace that can auto search this kind of texts and bold them all?
Or GREP functions?

Hello all,
I have a frustrating problem.
I often use text frames with vertical justification to ensure that my content fills the page.
However, when I apply a paragraph style with a Dropcap, the first two lines of text (that are affected by the dropcap) deviate from the automatic leading established by the vertical justification.
The result is unusable. The spacing is totally whack. Check out the attached image.
How do I fix this? I want that dropcap to scale up as large as necessary to accomodate the leading established by the auto justify.

I can't be 100% sure that Adobe is at fault but it appears that Indesign and Photoshop (in particular although it could be the whole Adobe suite) is crashing my computer. When I say crash, I mean that the screen will split and the left hand side of the doc will appear on the right hand side of the screen and vice versa and the screen will have horizontal lines all over it. Sometimes I can see well enough and the mouse will respond well enough for me to close the application but usually I have to force quit the whole computer. This only happens when I use Adode products. I use Indesign regularly and sometimes Photoshop. I have had the computer in at the IT guy and while they did a number of things to it and finally got it working properly, it occurred again on the first time I used Indesign. I have uninstalled Indesign (2014) and then reinstalled (2015) but the screen split as soon as Indesign opened.
Can anyone suggest what might be going on and what I can do to fix it?

Just bought new mac, when using InDesign the screen keeps flashing black when I move objects.

I'm trying to make a PDF document med hyperlinks, but all the hyperlinks don´t work if I have to many hyperlings with destination. It works with 55 hyperlinks with destination but when I try with more than 55 it stop working, even these one who worked before. Is there a limit in how many makros you can use in the same document.
I use Indesign.

I've been working for some time with InDesign CS6 under Windows 10. Now a new problem has arised: I am not able to copy text from my InDesign files to another application e.g. Microsoft Word or Notepad. The clipboard just remains blank. Any idea on how to solve this?
I'm looking to import via Data Merge images as a 'background image' into a cell that also has Data Merged text over top of the image.
Is there a way to do this using the same table and cell? Or some kind of hack?
I was thinking that I could have a table underneath that has just one column underneath the main table, but that's less than ideal as I will have have multiple tables and pages etc.
