Indesign/ Bridge CC 2014. Bridge: 6.1.0.115, InDesign 10.0.0.70. OSX 10.9.4
I've seen this question posted before, but not answered. Using "Reveal in Bridge" just brings Bridge to focus without revealing any files, the currently opened window just stays open. Reveal in Bridge from Mini-Bridge DOES work, however. Reveal in Finder works fine.
I've tried resetting preferences and clearing the image cache without success.
I need to change a few hyperlinks in a CS6 document done by someone else. When I first opened the dialogue box I saw the links listed but then I selected cross reference and ever since then I cannot get the hyoerlinks list back in the dialogure box. I would never ask how to do this here but I tried every possible way.
Its probably something stupid but just in case can someone let me know hwo to get the hyperlink list back?

I've been assisting a local church with a history volume which is slated to be printed by book1one.com. We're ready to output PDF for printing, but I can't seem to get any info on color management or PDF settings they want.
When asked directly, this was the response:
I checked with production and this was their note:
“We do not have or provide ICC profiles. The CMYK print is completed on press in CMYK format with the presses calibrated to HP standards.”
If there is concern about the files and color we recommend ordering a proof as part of your overall order so you can review before printing the rest of the books. Changes to the file can be made at that point if necessary.
From this I surmise that the printing is done on an HP digital press, most likely an Indigo, but no clear indication of model. Last time I sent a book to an Indigo we ran a number of proofs and from what I can tell looking at the 5-year-old files we probably ended up using the SWOP profile or Sheetfed Coated printing on a matte stock. As I recall the HP provided profile was not as good, colorwise, but it's been so long I've forgotten the details and the client has the proofs.
Anyone out there ever use these folks and have any advice?
I regularly copy content from one INDD file to another. They have the same paragraph styles and the same character styles. However, when I copy content from document A to document B, it consistently changes the font from Adobe Garamond Pro to Minion Pro. I can easily run Find Font to replace all instances of Minion Pro, but I'd prefer it copy correctly. Suggestions?

I have been practicing Adobe InDesign cs6 on my friends pc for a long time. And i have planned to buy my own InDesign cc and planning to write Adobe Certified Associate exam. so what my question is i heard that in the part of the certification, Adobe will background check on how i used the software for a year. so what does that mean?. do i have to run the application on my name for one year before taking the exam? if yes is it mandatory to get the certification ?. please guide me..

I need a script or a trick, through which I can make pdf's of all my open documents in InDesign...
Newbie just learning the basics of InDesign (and Illustrator and Photoshop).
I'm looking to create an image similar to the below from a movie poster. A dartboard of sorts, with thick white borders, and where I can fill each section with a different photo. I've played around with multiple circles and transparency... but to be honest- I have no clue what I am doing! Are there any suggestions or links that would set me in the right direction on how to create such a design (in a semi-simple manner)?
Is this work best done in InDesign or Illustrator or Photoshop?

I wish to work on the *final* versions of the text (once queried out of the MongoDB database in "chapter order") first in MS Word and then transfer them for the final pre-publication formatting of the book (with photos and PDFs) in Adobe InDesign.
Is a MongoDB database suitable for holding and sorting all the "raw material" and, if so, how would I export the responses to all my queries of the MongoDB database ***in a format that would enable me to keep working on the text.in first MS Word and then Adobe InDesign***.
I have come across the "mongoexport" utility but this seems to only export in CSV or JSON format, neither of which seem to lend themselves to working with text.

My InDesign CS6 version 8.0.1 suddenly becomes trial version but I have perpetual license.
Is it because of autoupdate function of CS6 change my license to trial?
Even I input the license, it still be trial and show "Your Trial will expire in 7 days".

I've been using Creative Cloud assets in an InDesign project and I have some assets that show up as pending in the Links menu in InDesign. If I try to use that Creative Cloud asset again, I receive a message saying "The file is already open by another user or another application. This file may be stored on a network server and cannot be opened until the other user closes it". I didn't think that this was supposed to happen with CC assets. Anyone else encounter this?
Why when I publish my InDesign document and view the link that adobe has created that my images are blurry
I'm using InDesign CC2015.4 and have linked an Excel table to InDesign. I have it all formatted using the cell styles and table styles. When I make a change in Excel and update the link in InDesign, for some reason a hyperlink character style gets applied to the entire table. It's an easy fix (just highlighting the table and making it 'none' on character style and it's all good again) but I'm looking at making 300+ pages of tables and that will get slightly annoying if that happens every time something is updated. What am I doing wrong? I've only been using InDesign for about 1 year so there's a good possibility I'm missing some really small simple thing, I just don't know what.
After I updated my app on my Mac when I open a photo in InDesign using edit in Photoshop when I save the photo and I come back to InDesign this crash.
It's impossible to work! I'm editing some catalogues and now I lose a lot of time because InDesign doesn't work!
It's a scandal. We pay a lot of money to have crash, crash and crash again!
We created an Indesign online brochure which contained a link to register for an online webinar via AdobeConnect. Our clients had an issue clicking on the submit button when registering for the event. We were able to narrow down the issue to a link issue from Indesign to AdobeConnect.
Is there a way to fix this so we can provide links from Indesign to AdobeConnect?

I can't figure this one out. I'm on a new machine at work and each time I export my file (which is right-side up), it shows my preview in Acrobat 180 degrees upside down. This is extremely frustrating. I tried going to Pages>rotating in InDesign but it still exports upside down. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Hi All,
I was wondering if anyone knows of or has used any software that can translate English copy into various different languages and populate various different InDesign documents with the translated text.
We are currently working on some POS materials for a client and they have asked us if we could do their European units as well as the UK. They have said that they could supply the translated text in Excel format so I'm not sure if the software would need to do the translation as such (that would be a bonus though) so I guess it would just need some solid mail merge features or something along those lines!

It crashes anytime I try to edit the master slide and then go back and work on pages. It's so frustrating because I can't do any of the work I need to do. Anyone experiencing similar? I'm also using osX 10.11.2.

Updated Indesign last week, and it's really really slow.
Lots of lagging - very sluggish in moving things around, menus slow to respond etc. Very frustrating.
Colleague has the same issue both at work and on personal Mac.
Using Mac fully spec'd up to meet requirements.
Help!
