when I open a new document I do not get inches by the margins it says this ( 51p0 ) how do i fix

I purchased cs5 in 2010 and have never used indesign I am now wanting to use it but when I open a new document I do not get inches by the margins  it says this ( 51p0 )  how do i fix it ? thanks beargirl
