I have been trying to learn how to change the dimensions of a new document in preferences from picas (default), to inches. Everything I have found says that I need to go up to the menu bar, and choose InDesign>Preferences to change it, but I do not have InDesign along my menu bar.... 
I do have a dropdpown option Id, but it does not have an option Preferences in it?? 
This is what I have on mine:
As you can see, there is no InDesign up there, just Id, File, Edit, Layout, Type, etcetera.... 
So, where can I set the preferences??
