I have a file made in InDesign CS5.5, and it has a rich black swatch as C=75, M=68, Y=67, K=90. It displays fine, it prints fine, fantastic.
I take that same swatch and put it in a new document made with my recently installed InDesign CC. That rich black comes out as brown. I don't know what it will print like, but I would like to get it displaying properly before I worry about anything else. Changing appearance of blacks in preferences doesn't change anything, neither does changing the screen mode or display performance.
Is there some sort of default mode new to CC (or CS6) that's causing blacks to display like this?
