Page numbering in Indesign with shuffled pages and a master

Hi,

So I made a 20 page book in Indesign and set up the master page to automatically number each page at the bottom. However, I had to shuffly my pages around to create the book but now my page numbers all changed to the new set up. How can I override the page numbers?

I shuffled it to the system where i would have page 20 beside page 1 at the top but now for example page 20 now reads as page 1 and page 1 reads as page 2. Hope that makes sense.
