Create an image crossover for a photo portfolio with 23mm of blank space on the inside of the spread

Hello,

I'm trying to lay out my portfolio in InDesign.

The book is a peg and post design to fit an 11"x14" page.

On the 11” side, the page needs to have an extra 23mm which will go into the mechanism to bind it. The page will then be scored at 25mm and 30mm so that it can lay flat.

When laying an image across a spread, how do I set it in InDesign to account for the lost 23mm on the inside of each page? I guess the image needs some crossover so that it will line up properly after binding the 23mm inside edge, but I can’t figure out how to do it!

Any help is massively appreciated.

Charlie
