Hyperlinks to pages, how to remove or edit?

Once a hyperlink to a page is made, I cannot delete or edit it. In the hyperlink panel 'new hyperlink' and 'hyperlink options' are not active. The only way seems  to delete the text which contains the hyperlink and type it again; a bit annoying!
