Columns are created whenever I try to add a page to my document.

Hi all,

I have been using InDesign for a good two weeks so I apologoize if this is obvious.  I would like to note that I have been all over Google and haven't found anything that adressed my problem.

I am creating my school's yearbook in InDesign. Whevever I insert a new page into the document, the rest of the pages are re-formatted with columns. This doesn't happen when I insert a page at the end of the document, just when it affects other pages.

This happens to oll of the 100+ pages in the document, both before and after the page I inserted.

PS. This is really urgent. I know it doesn't help but I only have two days left to finish this book and this problem will make it hard for me to do any other work on the document.
