Does anyone know why the left (file name) column would be very, very narrow in the dialog box when exporting an ID doc as a PDF? And how it can be remedied? See screen shot attached. This isn't a huge problem, but it's annoying always seeing truncated filenames, which are often very similar, and so I'm continuously having to go up and widen the column. Widening the column
I've tested this to make sure it isn't an OS thing (Mac OS 10.6.8). As far as I've been able to determine, it happens in two situations only: exporting an InDesign (CS5.5) file to PDF, and in packaging the file. Doesn't occur when opening a file from within ID, or with Save As -- in InDesign or any other application in the Suite. Doesn't occur in other non-Adobe apps.
Thanks in advance, and as usual, I'll be embarrassed to find there's a simple fix.
