Why do I get LAB color in my color palette when I mount a logo which has only PMS color (CS6)?

If I choose "New Color" in color palette and getting up a PMS color, already here (before click ok) can I see the LAB icon, why?

I dont´t like to work with LAB color because the printhouse only want to have CMYK or PMS colors.
