How do I resize a box with fixed reference point by key command (CS6)?

In my previous version of InDesign, I used to be able to resize a box with my mouse and key commands and it would hold the "anchor" determined by the reference point clicked. (holding shift-option-command and using the mouse)

But now, in CS6, when resizing that way the box always anchors according to the center of the box - no matter which of the 9 reference points are checked. I'd rather not have to go to Object>Transform>Scale... and then enter in percentages. Too many steps.

Is there another way? Or is there a preference I can change?
